Cafe
Sukhum Hang Dong
Great coffee. Basic but good food. Lots of seats and plugs, fast WiFi. A bit of a 70s-library feel. The loud Top 40 music is my complaint lately.
Great coffee. Food is basic but good. Actual meal options, not just bread stuff.
Really nice all-wood interior. Old lamps, vintage furniture, a bit like a 70s library. Lots of seating and plugs. Fast WiFi, rarely busy. Definitely somewhere you can sit and work for a few hours.
Convenient if you're heading deeper into Hang Dong. Not particularly convenient if you're a tourist staying in Chiang Mai. Lots of dedicated parking though.
Sukhum seems like an up-and-coming cafe franchise here. They put effort into the coffee and how the places look.
My complaint is the music lately. Loud Top 40 stuff. The ambience used to be good but this is getting in the way. Wish they'd turn it down a bit.
