Saraphi
South along the Ping, split by the Chiang Mai–Lamphun Superhighway with the older Lamphun Road making the scenic riverside route. The part that matters for relocators is Nong Phueng, the established expat pocket nearest the city. It lives gentle and orchard-dotted: traditional Thai homes and newer gated estates with more space than the city allows, riverside properties the prize, and a patchwork of longan orchards and rice fields between villages. The Superhighway corridor has seen a quiet build-up of family housing — several respectable gated communities here are well-placed for the international schools along the highway and Bangkok Hospital. Nong Phueng Municipal Park is the local green.
